Getting Started (Free)

1. Open PulseBoard — Go to thepulseboard.io
2. Start tracking — Add coins immediately without signing in
3. Free tier includes — Up to 3 coins, basic price display

Unlocking Pro Features

1. Sign in — Click "Sign In" in the footer and create an account with your email
2. Start free trial — Get 30 days of full Pro access, no credit card required
3. Subscribe — After your trial, subscribe for $4.99/month to keep Pro features

How the Trial Works

• Duration — 30 days from first use, OR 10 unique sessions (whichever comes first)
• Sessions — A session counts when you visit PulseBoard on a new calendar day
• Full access — All Pro features unlocked during trial
• No commitment — Trial ends automatically, no action required

Trial Countdown

The footer shows your remaining trial time and sessions. Colors indicate urgency:

• Green — 15+ days and 6+ sessions remaining
• Orange — 7-14 days or 3-5 sessions remaining
• Red — 6 or fewer days, or 2 or fewer sessions remaining

After Trial Ends

When your trial ends, you'll return to the free tier (3 coins, no charts). Subscribe anytime to restore Pro access.

How to Add a Coin

1. Tap Coin in the header
2. Search by name (e.g., "Bitcoin") or symbol (e.g., "BTC")
3. Tap a result to add it to your list

Removing Coins

1. Tap Coin in the header
2. Find the coin you want to remove
3. Tap the X next to its name

Opening a Chart

Tap any coin row to open its price chart.

Chart Controls

• Coin Dropdown (top left) — Switch to a different coin without closing the chart
• Fullscreen (top right) — Expand the chart to fill your screen
• Close (X button) — Exit the chart view

Stat Cards

At the top of the chart you'll see two stat cards displaying the current Price and Market Cap for the selected coin.

Timeframes

Switch between 9 different time periods:

• 1H — Last hour
• 4H — Last 4 hours
• 8H — Last 8 hours
• 12H — Last 12 hours
• 1D — Last 24 hours
• 7D — Last 7 days
• 30D — Last 30 days
• 90D — Last 90 days
• 1Y — Last year

Moving Averages

Toggle moving average overlays to spot trends. The available MAs change based on your selected timeframe:

Chart Interaction

Tap or point at any location on the chart to see the exact date, time, and price at that moment.

Sort Options

Access sorting from the coin manager. Available sort modes:

• Highest — Highest price first
• Lowest — Lowest price first
• Manual — Your custom order (Pro feature)

Manual Sorting

Arrange coins in any order you like:

1. Tap Coin in the header
2. Select Manual sort mode
3. Drag coins up or down to reorder
4. Your order is saved automatically

Theme

Choose from 5 color options:

• Dark — Default dark theme
• Light — Clean light theme
• Alt Dark — Warmer dark variant
• Alt Light — Warmer light variant
• Auto — Automatically switches based on time of day

Ticker Speed

Adjust the ATH ticker scroll speed from 50 (slowest) to 150 (fastest). Default is 100.

Display Size

Adjust how large coin rows appear. Smaller sizes let you see more coins at once; larger sizes are easier to read at a glance. (Pro feature)

Signing In

Click Sign In in the footer to create an account or log in with your email. You'll receive a confirmation link to verify your email address.

Password Reset

1. Click Sign In in the footer
2. Click Forgot password?
3. Enter your email and click Send Reset Link
4. Check your email and click the reset link
5. Enter your new password when prompted

Managing Your Subscription

Active subscribers see a Manage Subscription button in Settings. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can:

• View your current plan and billing cycle
• Update your payment method
• View invoice history
• Cancel your subscription

Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from the Stripe billing portal. After cancellation:

• Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period
• You won't be charged again
• You can resubscribe anytime to restore Pro access

Lifetime Pro Badge

Users who purchased PulseBoard Pro before January 2026 have lifetime access. You'll see a "Lifetime" badge next to your status in Settings, and you'll never be billed.

Signing Out

Click Sign Out in the Settings panel. Your coin list and preferences are saved locally and will persist.

Live Price Updates

Unlike the standard 5-second polling, the Real-Time Dashboard connects directly to exchange WebSockets for sub-100ms price updates. You'll see prices change the instant the market moves.

• Live indicator — Shows "Live" when connected, "OFFLINE" when disconnected
• Price flash — Green flash for price increases, red for decreases
• Direction arrows — Visual indicators show recent price movement direction

Background Chart

A subtle price chart displays behind your coin list, providing at-a-glance market context.

• Tap coin logo/symbol — Changes the background chart to that coin
• Tap price — Opens timeframe selector (1D, 7D, 30D, 90D)
• Tap change % — Toggles between percent and dollar change display

Display Customization

Fine-tune how the dashboard looks on your device:

• Pinch to zoom (mobile) — Two-finger pinch gesture adjusts display scale
• Settings sliders — Adjust chart size and watermark size precisely

PC Controls

On desktop, hold the Alt key to access advanced positioning controls:

• Alt + Drag chart — Reposition the background chart anywhere on screen
• Alt + Drag watermark — Move the coin indicator to your preferred corner
• Alt + Scroll over chart — Resize the background chart
• Alt + Scroll over watermark — Resize the coin indicator

Tip: Position changes save automatically. Use "Reset Positions" in Settings to restore defaults.
